Desert Mirage Photography was created to provide quality, affordable photography services.
When I was 16, I built a darkroom in our basement, and took pictures and processed film for the school publications. After high school, I studied photography from Ed Dessen, owner of Illini Studio in Illinois.
With an interest in video production, I joined the military as an audio video production specialist. I then spent 14 years in the National Guard in Illinois and Arizona as a Broadcast Journalist. During this time, I had the opportunity to practice my skill in a variety of situations, from overcoming the challenges during the rainy season in Panama to photographing castles in Germany.
From the time I was 16 until now, I always been intrigued with visual arts, and have recently put my experience and skills into creating memories for clients.
I feel I’ve done my job as a photographer if I can create an image that evokes an emotion, a memory or even a warm feeling of a fraction of a second in someones life.
